Malcolm Jenkins boldly aired his grievances Sunday following the Eagles’ crushing overtime loss to the Cowboys at Jerry World.

Speaking with reporters after the 29-23 defeat, the outspoken safety chastised NFL replay officials, stating, “Whoever is watching that in New York should lay off the bottle.”

Sunday’s NFC East showdown got off to a brilliant and then frustrating start for the defending Super Bowl champs, when Cowboys cornerback Jourdan Lewis fumbled the opening kickoff. Though Lewis was ruled down, the Eagles appeared to recover. Yet, when replay showed Lewis clearly was not down, the replay official determined there was no clear recovery of the football.

“That was a pretty terrible call, to be honest,” Jenkins said.

Jenkins wasn’t the only player fuming.

“I came up with the ball, so I don’t understand it,” said linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill. “Nothing you can really say about that. It’s ridiculous. Obviously came up with the ball.”

At 8-5, the Cowboys now have a firm grip over the division as the Eagles slipped to 6-7.
