Mark Davis was caught in a moment of anger by the “Monday Night Football” broadcast.
A camera at Allegiant Stadium caught the Raiders owner yelling, “What an asshole,” with 2:32 to play in the second quarter after Las Vegas settled for a 26-yard Daniel Carlson field goal as their drive stalled at the Packers’ 8-yard line.
It’s unclear exactly who or what Davis, who was sitting next to Orianthi, a singer/songwriter and guitarist, according to BroBible, was mad about.
Raiders owner Mark Davis was not happy after the Raiders settled for a field goal deep in Packers’ territory on “Monday Night Football”
Maybe Davis, whose famous bowl haircut looked shorter than usual, was upset at coach Josh McDaniel for settling for a field goal.
Maybe it was at Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo as their drive stalled after four plays — actually losing a yard following a Las Vegas interception of Packers quarterback Jordan Love.
Either way, the 68-year-old Davis wasn’t happy with the product on the field, even as the Raiders (2-3) took a 10-3 lead into the half and won 17-13.
Raiders owner Mark Davis Getty ImagesESPN play-by-play man Joe Buck had some fun with Davis’ unhappiness.
“A seven-point lead for Josh McDaniels, much to the chagrin of Mark Davis,” Buck said.
It ended up being short-lived as Green Bay scored on a 5-yard touchdown run by AJ Dillon on its opening drive of the second half after the Packers intercepted Garoppolo.
