Hours after the Lions and Rams agreed to a blockbuster trade that sent Matthew Stafford to Los Angeles, the quarterback and his new coach, Sean McVay, had dinner together.
Saturday night in Los Cabos, Mexico, Stafford and his wife Kelly, and McVay and his fiancée Veronika Khomyn celebrated the new union, Sports Illustrated reported.

In exchange for Stafford, the Lions received Rams quarterback Jared Goff, two first-round picks and a third-round pick.
