Mike Glennon’s abysmal passing performance Sunday will be his last of the season. 

The Giants quarterback sustained a wrist injury (on his non-throwing hand) during the 29-3 loss to the Bears, coach Joe Judge said on Monday, and will undergo surgery that will sideline him for the season finale. 

Jake Fromm has the upper hand to start Sunday against the Washington Football Team, though Judge said the Giants would also get practice-squad QB Brian Lewerke ready to play as well. 

“Right now, based on reps and games, Jake would have the nod,” Judge said. “I would anticipate getting him prepared that way, but like any other week, we’ll get both guys ready and make sure they’re both prepared and ready to play. 

In his fourth start of the season filling in for the injured Daniel Jones, Glennon completed 4 of 11 passes for 24 yards and two interceptions and fumbled twice while getting sacked four times — for a quarterback rating of 0.0. 

The 32-year-old Glennon, who was playing on a one-year contract, finished the season completing 90 of 167 passes for 790 yards, four touchdowns and 10 interceptions. 

“I’m pleased with what Mike’s done for the team and how hard he works,” Judge said. “I know Mike wanted to go out there [Sunday] and compete and do everything he could for the team, and that’s the way his season will end.” 

Fromm, whom the Giants signed off the Bills’ practice squad earlier this season, went 6 of 17 passing for 25 yards and an interception in his only start — Dec. 26 against the Eagles. He was replaced mid-game by Glennon, due to ineffective play. 

“I think he’s eager,” said left tackle Andrew Thomas, who played with Fromm at Georgia. “He comes in every day, and he works, doing his best to pick up the playbook. I’m excited to see him get another chance.” 

It’s possible Fromm could have more support around him than Glennon did against the Bears. 

Kenny Golladay was the Giants’ only true starting wide receiver who was active Sunday, with Kadarius Toney (shoulder), Sterling Shepard (torn Achilles), Darius Slayton (COVID protocols) and John Ross (knee/COVID ramp-up) all out. While Shepard is done for the season, Toney, Slayton and Ross figure to have a shot to play in the season finale.
