Observations from Jets camp on Thursday.

Mike White had an impressive day with the second team, looking in command of the offense and throwing with precision, particularly during the red-zone portion of the day. 

Joe Flacco had one particularly rough series in which two consecutive passes were broken up — the first nearly being picked off — before Jordan Whitehead intercepted the third, running it back for a touchdown. 

Tight end Lawrence Cager caught all four of the passes thrown to him during team drills, working with both the second- and third-team offense. 

Cornerback Lamarcus Joyner used Thursday to ramp up as he works back from an illness. Defensive lineman Quinnen Williams (ankle) worked off to the side. Cornerback D.J. Reed (hamstring) was back in 11-on-11 drills.
