Jets defensive tackle Muhammad Wilkerson doesn’t appear to be any happier about his contract situation after another lineman from the 2011 draft class struck it rich Tuesday.
“Yup I see how this works,” Wilkerson wrote cryptically on Twitter after the Saints signed Cameron Jordan to a five-year, $60 million deal that included $33.6 million guaranteed.
Wilkerson is staying away from the Jets’ offseason workouts because the team so far has refused to give him a lucrative extension. Jets owner Woody Johnson indicated last month the team is in no hurry to do so.
