Browns defensive end Myles Garrett has been discharged from the hospital after a scary single-car crash Monday that saw his vehicle flip over multiple times.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported that Garrett, 26, left the hospital Monday night. His injuries are “not life-threatening,” but more tests will be done to determine the severity of his injuries, per the report.

The accident occurred around 3 p.m. on Monday afternoon in Wadsworth, Ohio after Garrett left the Browns’ practice facility in Berea. According to NFL Network, Garrett “swerved to avoid an animal on the wet road” which led to his car being flipped over.

There was also a female passenger in the car, who suffered minor injuries. Garrett’s agent, Nicole Lynn, released a statement saying the star pass rusher was “alert and responsive.”

It remains unclear if Garrett will practice or play this week. The Browns travel to Atlanta to play the Falcons on Sunday.

Garrett, a three-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro, has three sacks, four tackles for loss and a forced fumble through three games with Cleveland, who is 2-1 to start the season. He has 61.5 career sacks in 71 games, including a career-high 16 sacks last season.
