For once, the Jets are not in the quarterback market in the draft. After taking Sam Darnold last year with the No. 3-overall pick, they feel like they have their franchise quarterback for the next decade.

It is possible they could draft a developmental quarterback late if they really love one, but they do already have Davis Webb in that developmental role.

In terms of specialists, kick and punt return abilities will be a factor in evaluating players. The Jets lost All-Pro returner Andre Roberts in free agency.

They also could eye a kicker, but it would be very unlike general manager Mike Maccagnan to draft one. The Jets have just six draft picks at the moment. Spending one on a kicker does not feel wise, though they do not have a long-term answer at the position.

The Jets like Lachlan Edwards at punter, so it is unlikely they would draft another one.
