The Colts are receiving a 2023 fifth-round compensatory pick, according to NFL Network.

Gilmore, 32, will now be on his fourth team in four years. The Patriots traded Gilmore to the Panthers during the 2021 season, and he signed with the Colts last season.

He is due $9.92 million in 2023 and is set to become a free agent after next season.

Gilmore, who spent five years with the Bills and four with the Patriots, had 66 tackles, two interceptions and 11 passes defended in 16 games last season.

Saints keeping Michael Thomas on one-year contract

The Saints are keeping Pro Bowl receiver Michael Thomas on a reworked one-year contract, according to multiple reports.

Thomas will get a $10 million deal that can reach $15 million.

The 30-year-old missed the entire 2021 season with an ankle injury and then played just three games last season due to a foot injury. Thomas was limited to seven games in 2020 as well.

In 2019, Thomas had 149 catches with 1,725 yards and nine touchdowns.

According to ESPN, Rodgers gave the Jets a wish list that includes the former Giants wide receiver. It also includes Randall Cobb, Allen Lazard and Marcedes Lewis, as was previously reported earlier Tuesday.

Rodgers said on "The Pat McAfee Show" in October that he and Beckham "have been friends for a number of years" and that he hoped they could one day play together.

Austin Ekeler granted permission by Chargers to seek trade

The Chargers have granted running back Austin Ekeler permission to talk to teams about a possible trade after talks about a contract extension stalled, according to ESPN.

ESPN reported Monday that Ekeler would seek that permission.

Ekeler, 27, is entering the final year of his contract and is due $6.25 million in 2023. He had 915 yards rushing, 722 yards receiving and 18 total touchdowns last season.
