It’s time to tamper.

The NFL’s 2025 free agency window is open with Monday marking the beginning of the legal tampering period. The NFL offseason has already been busy with Geno Smith being traded to the Raiders, DK Metcalf heading to Pittsburgh and Davante Adams signing with the Rams.

The Post’s live updates for the first day of NFL free agency have ended.

Giants add defensive end Chauncey Golston

By Andrew Crane

The Giants signed defensive end Chauncey Golston to a three-year, $19.5 million deal, according to NFL Network.

He collected 5.5 sacks with sacks last season — his career-high — with the Cowboys, which drafted him in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

49ers releasing Kyle Juszcyk in shocking move

By Andrew Crane

Kyle Juszcyk, a nine-time Pro Bowl, was released by the 49ers on Monday, according to ESPN.

The fullback, who was drafted by the Ravens in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL Draft, spend the last eight seasons in San Francisco.

Jets add to secondary with Andre Cisco signing

By Andrew Crane

The Jets added another member to their secondary Monday night, signing safety Andre Cisco to a one-year deal worth $10 million, according to multiple reports.

Cisco, a third-round pick out of Syracuse in 2021, spent the first four years of his career with the Jaguars, appearing in 63 games with 47 starts and collecting eight interceptions.

Najee Harris goes cross-country

By Michael Blinn

Najee Harris joins the Chargers' already deep rushing corps on a one-year deal worth up to $9.25 million, per NFL Network.

The 27-year-old has eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark in each of his four pro seasons, all with the Steelers, accumulating 1,043 yards on 263 carries in 2025, adding six rushing touchdowns. He added an extra 283 receiving yards -- but for the second straight season failed to find pay dirt through the air.

He'll join a team that lost in the wild card round in Jim Harbaugh's first season at the helm.

Broncos add another ex-49ers star

By Michael Blinn

Hours after agreeing to a deal with Talanoa Hufanga, the Broncos brought in linebacker Dre Greenlaw.

It's been an offseason of turnover for San Francisco, which saw G Aaron Banks, CB Charvarius Ward, OT Jaylon Moore, RB, Elijah Mitchell and QB Josh Dobbs also hit the road out of town -- exits that came on the heels of wideout Deebo Samuel get traded to the Commanders.

Patriots keep on spending

By Michael Blinn

The Patriots are spending money like it's going out of style.

They added to their impressive Monday haul by adding wide receiver Mack Brown on a two-year deal worth $8.4 million that maxes out at $10.4 million.

As noted by NFLN's Mike Garofalo:

The best game of Mack Hollins’ career: Eight catches for 158 yards and a TD for Josh McDaniels’ Raiders against Mike Vrabel’s Titans.

Darius Slayton sticking with Big Blue

By Michael Blinn

Darius Slayton will be back with the Giants next season on a three-year, $36 million deal, per multiple reports.

The veteran wideout was a 2019 Giants draft pick who saw his stats dip to 39 receptions for 573 yards and two touchdowns as the team struggled from QB on out.

At 28, he's tied with Dexter Lawrence as the longest-tenured Giants player, though they've both seen little success at MetLife Stadium and beyond.

“I think I’ve improved every year that I’ve been in the NFL,” Slayton said in December. “Whenever the season ends, I believe I’ll go into the offseason work and I’ll come back a better version of myself for year seven. So, that’s just something that I personally take pride in regardless of my team situation or whatever.”

More free agents to hit the market

By Michael Blinn

Wide receiver Cooper Kupp and tackle Dalvin Tomlinson will add some fresh names to NFL free agency at the start of the league new year on Marc. 12.

Kupp, who announced the Rams were trying to trade him, will be released by the team, per ESPN. Los Angeles has Puca Nakua to go with the recent addition of Davante Adams as the team tries to cut down costs, especially after agreeing to a new deal with QB Matthew Stafford.

Tomlinson is in the same boat as Kupp, with the Browns set to cut him -- allowing him to sign elsewhere. He will be designated a Post-June 1 cut, however.

Zach Wilson back to the AFC East

By Michael Blinn

Jets QB bust Zach Wilson is back on the East Coast after agreeing to a one-year deal with the Dolphins.

The No. 2 pick in the 2021 draft, Wilson was never able to gain a foothold in New York and spent last season with the Broncos.

Now, he'll get a few up-close visits with his former team via Miami, but likely behind Tua Tagovailoa on the depth chart.

The deal is worth a fully-guaranteed $6 million, with incentives and bonuses that could see it reach $10 million, per Adam Schefter.

Charvarius Ward the latest CB to cash in

By Michael Blinn

Charvarius Ward will patrol the field for the Colts, thanks to a three-year deal worth up to $60 million.

The former 49ers cornerback also gets $35 million guaranteed and a $20 million signing bonus, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Ward's deal follows several big-money deals for CBs on the opening day of free agency: Carlton Davis (3 years, $60M), Paulson Adebo (3 years, $54M), Nate Hobbs (4 years, $48M), DJ Reed (4 years, $48M) and Brandon Stephens (3 years, $36M) lead the way.

Patriots get a backup QB as spending spree continues

By Michael Blinn

Not content with their haul of Milton Williams and Morgan Moses, the Patriots added quarterback Josh Dobbs on a two-year deal on Monday, per multiple reports.

It's an $8 million deal with $3.8 million fully guaranteed, per NFLN's Tom Pelissero.

Dobbs, 30, spent last season as a backup in San Francisco, a role he'll reprise behind Drake Maye as New England's latest attempt to find a franchise quarterback enters its second season.

Dobbs was a feel-good story in 2023, starting the season on the hapless Cardinals before leading the Vikings to a thrilling win after a midseason trade. He struggled his way to third-string in short order.

If things don't work out with the Patriots, he has a degree in aerospace engineering and a background as an intern at the Kennedy Space Center and an ambassador for NASA’s Glenn Research Center to fall back on.

Kenny Pickett on the move

By Michael Blinn

The opening day of free agency has stopped the trade market.

The Eagles, fresh off their Super Bowl 2025 win, shipped backup QB Kenny Pickett to the Browns in exchange for Dorian Thompson-Robinson and a fifth-round draft pick.

Pickett, originally a Steelers draftee, lands back in the AFC North and into a much more volatile situation under center.
