The Tennessee Titans vs. Pittsburgh Steelers game has been pushed back to later in the season after the Titans had two more positive COVID-19 tests Thursday morning, the NFL announced.

The Titans have now had 11 total positive COVID-19 cases after one player and one personnel member tested positive Thursday, bringing the totals to five players and six personnel.

“The decision to postpone the game was made to ensure the health and safety of players, coaches and game day personnel,” the NFL said in a statement. “The Titans facility will remain closed and the team will continue to have no in-person activities until further notice.”

According to ESPN, some of the positive cases include defensive assistant coaches.

The initial hope was that the Titans vs. Steelers game could take place either Monday or Tuesday after it was initially postponed from Sunday, but now the game will be played at a to-be-determined date later in the season.

Tennessee placed cornerback Kristian Fulton on the COVID-19/reserve list on Thursday. Linebacker Kamalei Correa, nose tackle DaQuan Jones, long-snapper Beau Brinkley and practice squad tight end Tommy Hudson were previously placed on the list.

NFL Network reports the Minnesota Vikings, who played the Titans last Sunday, again reported no positive cases after Wednesday’s round of tests and are set to practice Thursday afternoon. They’re scheduled to play the Texans in Houston on Sunday.
