The NFL awkwardly alluded to Deshaun Watson’s sexual assault allegations during a video celebrating the quarterback’s status as of one of the league’s top players.

“Nobody knows when Deshaun Watson will take the field again,” the narrator says while highlights of the 25-year-old from the 2020 season are shown.

“His future is uncertain, but his talent is unquestioned,” the 87-second video continues, ending with, “The skill is no mystery, almost everything else is.”

The video didn’t feature standard player interviews from peers and teammates.

Watson, who has denied all allegations, has not been suspended or disciplined by the NFL since the sexual assault allegations became public in March, and continues to practice with the team in training camp.

The franchise QB requested a trade from Houston in January because he reportedly was frustrated over the organization not including him in major team decisions.

Last week, NFL Network insider Ian Rapaport reported that the Texans have begun fielding trade offers for the three-time Pro Bowler.

Watson has yet to play in a preseason game, and earlier this month, he was oddly listed as the fourth-string quarterback on the Texans’ unofficial depth chart.

“Quite simply he can do thing so the football field that few others can’t,” the NFL’s Top 100 video said about Watson.

In 2020, Watson led the NFL with a career-high 4,823 passing yards. He also threw a career-high 33 touchdowns.
