From Tom Brady to Ryan Tannehill. From NFL tackles to WWE takedowns.

Poor Danny Amendola.

The Miami wide receiver was on the receiving end of a theatrical and brutal body slam Sunday during a game with Chicago. Bears linebacker Leonard Floyd stopped Amendola’s progress after a short completion, but couldn’t quite get him to the ground. So he got creative.

With only one of Amendola’s legs on the ground, Floyd picked him up, briefly cradling the 5-foot-11, 188-pound receiver like a baby. He then flipped Amendola in the air, a 360 that ended with both Amendola and penalty flags crashing to the turf.

A 15-yard unsportsmanlike penalty was given because the NFL is not the WWE.
