The Post’s Drew Loftis evaluates all the relevant fantasy football news ahead of Week 13 of the NFL season.
Hot takes
Andy Dalton QB, Bengals
Has been reanointed as the starter, with Ryan Finley headed back to the bench. The vulnerable Jets are on tap this week and the Dolphins in Week 16. This puts him on the radar for streaming teams and in leagues that can use two QBs.
Sony Michel RB, Patriots
He likely has been parked at the end of your bench for weeks. Get ready to move him back into starter consideration. The Texans, Chiefs, Bengals and Bills are left on the schedule. His volume should finally start yielding fantasy points.
Anthony Miller WR, Bears
He has 20 targets over the past two weeks. Could be a nice emergency piece on your bench the rest of the way.
Jack Doyle TE, Colts
Eric Ebron was placed on IR on Monday. Expect Doyle to inherit a nice chunk of his targets and production the rest of the way.
Hot garbage
Josh Allen QB, Bills
The only QBs with a larger step up in difficultly the rest of way are Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes. We don’t expect Allen to fare as well against more formidable competition.
Brian Hill RB, Falcons
Starter Devonta Freeman could return soon. Even if he doesn’t, Hill has been terrible and is yielding goal-line work to Qadree Ollison.
David Montgomery RB, Bears
According to Pro Football Focus, Montgomery rates as the 75th most effective running back and ranks 86th in yards after contact per attempt. Forget some upcoming favorable matchups, you can’t play this guy.
James Washington WR, Steelers
Sure, he had a long TD on Sunday, but he caught just three of seven targets. He is inefficient and big-play reliant. When other WRs get healthy, he will see a decrease in snaps.
