Giants Week 4 report card: Ridiculous stuff going on
By Paul SchwartzGrading the Giants’ 24-3 loss to the Seahawks on Monday night.
The Giants badly need a win on the stage they often play their worst football.
Sitting at 1-2, they host the Seahawks at MetLife stadium on “Monday Night Football.”
Primetime has often delivered nightmares for the Giants, who own an NFL-worst .347 winning percentage on “Monday Night Football.”
They’ll be without left tackle Andrew Thomas (hamstring) and likely running back Saquon Barkley, who is listed as doubtful with an ankle injury.
Can Big Blue rebound from their rough loss to the 49ers in Week 3?
Or will they be facing a 1-3 hole?

Grading the Giants’ 24-3 loss to the Seahawks on Monday night. It can take a football team too long to forge and find its identity, and a season can be left in ruins until it does. The Giants needed to make a statement on Monday night about who they are and what they can be, before the What-Have-You-Done-For-Us-Lately? police arrested them for impersonating a playoff team. Here was their statement: We are no playoff team. Not today. Maybe not tomorrow either. We are sad sacks. The Giants, abominable 24-3 losers to the Seahawks, are already knocking on death’s door.Giants Week 4 report card: Ridiculous stuff going on

Armstead, whose 49ers beat Jones and the Giants in Week 3, posted on X (formerly Twitter):
"Daniel Jones I am so disappointed in you… why would you would throw the ball so quick vs us and then let these people have a career day ? ….. why weren’t we deserving ?"
Jones was sacked 11 times Monday night.
Multiple 49ers players notably made fun of Jones after that Week 3 game.

For the past two weekends, the Giants were the only NFL team assigned to sit back and watch, with no responsibility to take the field and play a game.
All good things have to come to an end.
The schedule demanded the Giants come out of their semi-hibernation and actually continue their season.
That was too bad for the Giants.
When they weren’t playing, they couldn’t lose and couldn’t look bad along the way.
They played Monday night and they looked bad. Very bad.
In a season rapidly filling up with embarrassing performances, the Giants added to the pile another dud, as they were dominated every which way in a 24-3 loss to the Seahawks at MetLife Stadium.

It was a nightmarish night for both Daniel Jones and the Giants' offensive line.
Jones became the first quarterback since 1985 to throw a pick-six and be sacked 11 times.

The Giants fell 24-3 to the Seahawks in another ugly primetime showing.
They now sit at 1-3, with the Dolphins and Bills looming next.
Tyrod Taylor is in the game for the final drive of the game, replacing Daniel Jones.
