The Giants are staying busy.
The team signed outside linebacker Ryan Anderson to a one-year deal on Tuesday morning, according to multiple reports. The contract is worth $1.125 million and will count for $987,500 against the salary cap.
Anderson was a second-round selection for Washington out of Alabama in 2017. The 26-year-old had six sacks in four seasons, including a career-high four in 2019.
Despite those limited stats, he has flashed some of the potential that made him sought after in the draft. Anderson had a two sacks and three forced fumbles against the Eagles in a December 2019 game.
