Giants fans who walk into MetLife Stadium this season will no doubt be thrilled with what they see on the all-new turf field: a large, brand-new addition at midfield featuring the iconic, lower-case “ny” logo.
The logo, stretching from one 43-yard line to the other, is blue, outlined in white, the same logo as the white version the Giants currently have on the sides of their blue helmets.
This is the first time the Giants will use that logo on their field. It replaces the generic NFL logo at midfield at MetLife Stadium.
