Baker Mayfield may be poised for greatness in Believe-land, but the real star of the Browns isn’t this year’s first-overall draft pick.

Bob Wylie, Cleveland’s offensive line coach, has become the breakout star of “Hard Knocks” this summer, usurping front-runner Jarvis Landry, following the wide receiver’s impassioned speech in the premiere episode.

Wylie, 67, has won fans over, even giving the Dawg Pound a look at his cheeky side by telling the valet not to pull a “Ferris Bueller” after dropping off his white Maserati at the team hotel.

The offensive guru has also made it clear to players and audiences he is not a fan of stretching, calling it “overrated.”

“Did you know in World War I and World War II, all those guys that fought in that war, they did push-ups, jumping jacks, sit-ups, [climbed up] and ran, but none of this fancy s–t, and they won two world wars, two world wars by doing jumping jacks, push-ups and sit-ups, two World Wars,” Wylie said.

“You think they were worried when they were running across Normandy about f–king stretching? Are you kidding me? … Give me my rubber band to stretch so I can run across that f–king beach. You’ve got to be kidding me,” he continued.

Fortunately for Wylie, it doesn’t look like he’ll have to do much of that.

“I’d rather watch a plant grow than stretch.” – Coach Bob Wylie
