After ignoring cornerback early in the 2021 NFL Draft, Jets general manager Joe Douglas has taken three on Day 3 of the draft.
He selected Kentucky cornerback Brandin Echols in the sixth round, with pick 200. Echols was a two-year starter for the Wildcats. He joins Michael Carter II out of Duke and Jason Pinnock from Pittsburgh as new cornerbacks for the Jets, who are extremely thin at the position.
