Sheldon Richardson’s emotional night did not end after the Jets’ crushing loss to the Bills.

Richardson, a St. Louis native, responded to the hectic scene in Ferguson after a grand jury opted not to indict police Officer Darren Wilson, who shot and killed Michael Brown on Aug. 9.

Richardson was teary-eyed after the Jets were pounded by the Bills, 38-3. The 23-year-old defensive tackle then took to Twitter as Missouri residents protested, some violently, over the controversial decision.

There were similar scenes throughout August when police clashed with protesters in the wake of the shooting incident that sparked national outrage.
