Let’s go multiple choice here: Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is getting along with A) Seahawks teammates; B) Seahawks front office; C) local media; D) opposing fans; or E) none of the above.

“Beast Mode” is in a figurative one-man backfield after a weekend of stunts that were strange even for the mercurial power runner.

The most bizarre was Lynch staying on the field for the entire halftime of Sunday’s 24-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, rather than huddling up with his teammates. Lynch, who steamed for 120 yards on 24 carries, reportedly told NFL Network he was too fatigued to hike back to the locker room.

But many interpreted the midgame sit-in as a form of protest against his bosses. Lynch’s future with the defending Super Bowl champions, who have been reluctant to give the 28-year-old a long-term contract, is the subject of much speculation.

“Do I think I’ll be gone after this season?” Lynch told NFL.com over the phone. “I don’t know, man. The Seahawks, their front office gets in the media; they talk a lot. I don’t talk too much. I just play the game.

“If they have something going on, I don’t know about it.”

That was six sentences more than Lynch shared with media gathered in the locker room at Arrowhead Stadium. The notoriously reticent Lynch — who ducked out of Super Bowl media day — was under threat of a $100,000 fine if he failed to meet his league-mandated media obligations, according to Pro Football Talk. And…

Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch left the locker room quickly after reporters circled around him. Gone now.

No word yet on the wallet hit coming to Lynch, who certainly didn’t help his case with NFL disciplinarians with this lovely bit of hotel-lobby diplomacy from Friday night.

Coworkers buddy ran into beastmode last night. Seems friendly. #Chiefspic.twitter.com/K8Jpr2d9yh

So, yeah, the correct answer is E.
