The defections from the Jets continued Wednesday with running back Shonn Greene agreeing to a deal with the Titans, according to a source.
The deal is for three years and $10 million as Greene will join Chris Johnson in the Titans backfield.
The Jets have lost Greene and defensive end Mike DeVito, who signed with the Chiefs, in free agency so far. Pro Bowl safety LaRon Landry is visiting with the Colts today and tight end Dustin Keller is visiting with the Dolphins, according to sources. It is conceivable that those two could be gone by the end of the day.
Greene was taken in the third round of the 2009 Draft by the Jets. He became the team’s starter in 2011 and rushed for more than 1,000 yards in each of the last two years. Last season, Greene had 1,063 yards and eight touchdowns on 276 carries.
