Vernon Davis will soon have a Super Bowl ring, but he may not be getting a wedding ring.
The former Broncos tight end, who signed a one-year deal with the Redskins in March, was put on blast by fiancée Janel Horne for allegedly cheating on her with a 20-year-old.
“When you give a man your all, 15 yrs, 3 kids, and you sacrifice your life and then he cheats on you with a 20 yr old child and lies on you @vernondavis85,” Horne wrote on Instagram, in which she also tagged the tight end’s supposed mistress.
Though Horne’s account remains private, Davis’ public feed has been filled with a series of new photos, including an intriguing biblical passage.
“When people do these things we should hold hands and pray for them,” Davis captioned the shot.
After the 32-year-old Davis shared a selfie grinning from ear to ear on Monday, his followers were quick to slam the snap.
“On your way to pick up you (sic) 20 year old side chick from day care,” one user wrote.
“If your (sic) gonna be a cheater .. you should have played for the Patriots,” another noted.
Davis, a longtime 49er who was a mid-season addition in Denver, played a bit role in helping the Broncos run through the AFC and then the Panthers in the Super Bowl this past season.
