There are some people who think the Jets should draft Aaron Rodgers’ successor this year and let him learn under Rodgers for the next two years like the Packers did with Jordan Love.
I don’t think the Jets are there yet.
Jordan Travis could prove to be a late-round value pick. APJoe Douglas signed Tyrod Taylor to be Rodgers’ backup and I don’t see that changing.
However, the Jets do need to add a third, developmental quarterback. That could happen on Day 3.
Florida State’s Jordan Travis is an intriguing prospect who is coming off an injury and might be a value pick.
If the Jets don’t draft one, they will sign an undrafted free agent quarterback.
