The Jets are even the butt of jokes in obits.

Winless and possibly headed to the franchise’s first season without a victory, the Jets are getting mocked everywhere.

In an obituary for 85-year-old Edward Michael Mazur, the family wrote in Newsday that he “drew his last breath on December 9, 2020 mainly, we suspect, to avoid having to watch another Jets game.”

At least he won’t have to witness history, as it seems likely that the Jets go 0-16 at this point.
