He’s Beck.

Odell Beckham Jr. has shown up for the Browns’ OTAs that begin Tuesday, as first seen in the background of an Instagram story from fellow Cleveland receiver Antonio Callaway.

How long he will work out with Baker Mayfield, Jarvis Landry, David Njoku, Nick Chubb and the most intriguing team in football is unclear. There are 10 voluntary OTAs over the next three weeks before June’s mandatory minicamp. ESPN reported that Beckham would do a video conference call, but then threw the idea into doubt.

Beckham skipped April’s voluntary minicamp, immediately making headlines for not making the cleanest first impression. The Browns, as they must do because these practices are optional, downplayed any meaning that could be extracted, while ESPN voice Tony Grossi called out Beckham on Twitter, asking where is he.

“Training!” Beckham tweeted. “Thanks for your concerns!”

Beckham, who lives a busy life and whose work ethic has never been questioned, was present for seven of the Giants’ 10 OTAs last offseason, when he signed a $90 million deal. Since that time has come a disastrous season with the Giants, a quad injury that cut his season short and finally the stunning March trade to Cleveland.

Whenever he shows and whenever he doesn’t, it appears the Browns will be OK with it.

“I think he’s an experienced enough player that he will understand what he has to do to put himself in the best position and put this team in the best position,” Browns GM John Dorsey told reporters last month.
