LeBron James and pal Odell Beckham are about to get a whole lot closer.

On Thursday, the 29-year-old receiver signed a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Rams, amid a few moments of Twitter confusion about his actual landing spot. Once the news became official, the Lakers superstar celebrated on social media.

“Welcome to LA my brother @obj! It’s GO TIME!!” James tweeted with other members of the sports world, including former quarterback Robert Griffin III and wide receiver Dez Bryant following suit.

Beckham, who was waived on Monday after two-and-a-half seasons in Cleveland, cleared waivers Tuesday and became a free agent. The Patriots, Saints and Packers were all rumored to be in the mix. Ultimately, Beckham got his wish in joining a playoff contender.

Following Thursday’s decision, Beckham’s new teammates also welcomed him to LA, including cornerback Jalen Ramsey, who says he “can’t wait.”

Prior to the signing becoming official, linebacker Von Miller— who joined the Rams earlier this month after being traded by the Broncos — helped recruit Beckham to the Rams. On Thursday, he posted a photo of a smiling Beckham on his Instagram Story.

“Let’s chase this ring family!!!!” Miller wrote.

Elsewhere, Beckham’s friend and now former Browns teammate Jarvis Landry appeared to react to the news, fueling an avalanche of comments over his curious tweet.

Beckham has 17 receptions for 232 yards and zero touchdowns this season. He will soon be catching passes from quarterback Matthew Stafford, who is also in his first year as a Ram.
