The Redskins have made a long-term quarterback commitment. Alex Smith is switching teams, and Kirk Cousins is hitting the market, exciting a number of suitors.

The most entertaining fallout, though, from Tuesday night’s blockbuster involved the other player in the trade.

Kendall Fuller found out he was heading to Kansas City when everyone else on Twitter did. And as the trade broke piecemeal, each NFL insider releasing bits of information before the whole trade was announced, Fuller was enthralled.

First the cornerback, coming off a quality sophomore season in which he picked off four passes and played in all 16 games, retweeted a teammate, using Jon Stewart to show how eager he was for news as trade rumblings began.

At 9:23 p.m., ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Alex Smith was going to Washington in exchange for a third-round pick and an unidentified player.

“Nahh its not me.. I don’t thinkk,” the 22-year-old wrote. “Lol im on here tryna find out just like yaa 👀”

With the trade being reportedly finalized about 40 minutes prior, Fuller thought he was in the clear.

“Talk About A Night,” Fuller wrote, adding a laughing emoji.

The Baltimore native and Virginia Tech product seemed to handle his move Midwest well, though, quickly pivoting from incredulity to shock to acceptance.

On a more serious note i cant wait to get to Kansas City! Im excited to be a Chief!!
