Here are the three keys to Saturday night’s AFC first-round playoff game between the New England Patriots and Tennessee Titans:

The best matchup figures to be Titans CB Logan Ryan, a Patriot for his first four seasons, covering Julian Edelman, Tom Brady’s favorite target. Ryan has four interceptions, 4.5 sacks, 18 passes defensed and 113 tackles. Edelman has 100 receptions for 1,117 yards and six touchdowns.

“They’re both very talented players that make you pay when you make a mistake,’’ Brady said. “They know each other really well. I’ll be very conscious of where [Ryan] is at so I don’t make a mistake that causes us a big problem.’’

Bill Belichick’s 31 playoff wins is the most in NFL history. Brady is 30-10 in the playoffs, while the other 11 quarterbacks in this postseason have a combined 26 wins. This is the first career playoff game for both Titans coach Mike Vrabel and his QB Ryan Tannehill, who’s in his seventh season. The Patriots are 11-0 under Belichick against QBs in their first postseason as starters. So, experience could play a major factor.

“As much as all those other games were great to be a part of, they’re not going to help us win this game,’’ Brady said. “I think knowing what to expect can be a little bit helpful if you use the experience wisely, but it’s not going to help me complete a pass [Saturday].’’

As good as Tannehill has been, running back Derrick Henry is who makes the Titans’ offense go. The 6-foot-3, 247-pound Henry was NFL’s rushing champion with 1,540 yards, a 5.1-yard average and 16 TDs. Despite a hamstring injury before the season finale, Henry rushed for 211 yards and three TDs on 32 carries. The Patriots ranked sixth in the league in rushing defense, yielding just 95.5 yards per game. So, this should be a great matchup.
