Eric Weddle didn’t go too long between teams.
The six-time Pro Bowl safety was surprisingly released by the Ravens on Tuesday, and the famously bearded California native will be heading back to the West Coast on a two-year deal with the Rams, the team announced Friday.
The contract is worth $10.5 million, but could go up to $12.5 million with incentives, according to The MMQB.
Weddle will join cornerback Aqib Talib to create a dynamic backfield for LA, though it likely means Lamarcus Joyner won’t be coming back when the free agency window opens on Mar. 13.
