Ravens tight end Hayden Hurst is putting his love life in the hands of the Twitterverse.
After failing to connect on a recent flight to Baltimore, Hurst tweeted a note to a “gorgeous” mystery woman, who he believes may be “the one that got away.”
“To the gorgeous tall brunette on my flight to Baltimore. You walk incredibly fast and I couldn’t catch up but here’s hoping you have Twitter #theonethatgotaway 🙏🏼,” he wrote.
Hurst’s NFL pals, including former Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs, later commended him for issuing a bold plea.
“NOW THIS🔝IS HOW YOURE SUPPOSED TO SHOOT YOUR SHOT! ⛹🏼♂️🏀#GoodluckASGUARDIAN,” Suggs tweeted.
“Haha shooters shoot, respect the hustle,” fellow tight end Mark Andrews penned.
Others, however, roasted Hurst’s efforts, shading his speed for not being able to catch up to her.
“Hold on…NFL can’t catch up with tall brunette…did the Ravens sign the wrong person?” one follower posted, to which Hurst replied: “Relax. I was taking a picture with someone.”
The fan who requested the photo has since apologized to Hurst.
“I shot my shot first 😂🤷🏾♂️,” Navarone Simpson tweeted.
As for the woman in question, it appears she did reply to Hurst, writing, “Open your DMs sir.” The tweet has since been deleted.
