Baltimore Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith and his family were reportedly robbed at gunpoint after being followed from Los Angeles International Airport to their hotel on Tuesday night.

According to The Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec, Smith and his family were unhurt in the incident.

The Ravens released a statement Friday saying, “We are aware of the situation involving Jimmy Smith. We have spoken with Jimmy and he and his family are safe.”
