Ray Lewis won’t be back, perhaps until the playoffs.

That means the Giants won’t see the linebacker Sunday when they meet the Ravens in Baltimore. The team announced Saturday that he won’t play this weekend and isn’t expected back until the postseason — at the earliest.

This past week, Tom Coughlin said he expected Lewis to return – he’s missed the past eight games with a torn triceps muscle – and Ravens coach John Harbaugh was coy on the subject. The Ravens are hurting at linebacker, with Jameel McClain out for the season with a spinal cord injury.
