The Redskins came up short Monday night in more ways than one.

In addition to falling to the Bears, 31-15, the Redskins managed to mangle London Fletcher’s name for the Ring of Honor festivities, posting “London Flecther” on a Jumbotron instead.

Naturally, the Twitterverse had plenty to say about the embarrassing flub.

“We are a mess of a franchise. Can’t even spell. No hope, no accountability. A Damn joke,” one fan tweeted.

“No accountability, no kind of culture, no direction, no leadership, no attention to detail,” another posted. “An utter embarrassment #redskins.”

Fletcher, a former linebacker, played for the Redskins from 2007-2013. A four-time Pro Bowler, Fletcher’s storied career included 2,031 tackles with 39 sacks, 23 interceptions and two touchdowns.
