ESPN.com reports that Cowboys tight end Jason Witten has a fractured rib and his status for Sunday’s game against the Giants is in doubt.
The report says Witten plans to play through the injury, suffered Sunday, but when asked his prognosis, he replied, “It’s not great.”
The Cowboys also are mulling a change at quarterback, where Brad Johnson was unimpressive filling in for injured Tony Romo.
