SportingNews.com reports “the Jets have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with Seattle free-agent defensive tackle Howard Green.”

The Web site says, “Green played for the Ravens in 2002 when (Rex) Ryan was the Ravens’ defensive line coach before eventually being promoted to defensive coordinator.”

The Jets today waived DT Nate Robinson.
