Revis Island remained vacant at Jets practice today, but the Pro Bowl cornerback is scheduled to arrive to the team’s Florham Park N.J. facility by sometime this afternoon.

Revis today will end his contract dispute holdout, which lasted 36 days when he agreed to a new deal late Sunday night.

“just landed back in jersey, the flight was a lil rough tho but im just happy to be home,” Revis tweeted just before 1 p.m.

When he arrives he’s expected to sign his contract and will participate in his first practice on Tuesday. He’s expected to play in the Jets season opener against the Ravens on Sept. 13.

Revis will address reporters sometime later this afternoon and we’ll keep you posted with more reports when that happens.
