Ex-Seahawks defensive back Richard Sherman was arrested Saturday morning for allegedly driving under the influence, arrest records show.

King County jail records indicate Sherman was arrested by Washington State Patrol and booked in the early hours of the morning.

The state patrol confirmed the arrest to Fox 13 in Seattle, but per the outlet, the King County Prosecutor’s office has not been sent charges in the case.

It’s not clear what led to the arrest.

Sherman, 35, was arrested in July 2021 over drunk driving and domestic disturbance charges after police said the former Seahawk crashed his car into a construction zone then attempted to break into his in-laws’ home outside of Seattle.

The case was settled in March 2022 when Sherman pleaded guilty in Seattle to two misdemeanor charges.

“I’m grateful for the community we have and the way people continue to accept you even though you’re a flawed human being and made a mistake,” Sherman said in court after his plea, according to the Associated Press.

Sherman was one of the top defensive backs of the 2010s, earning five trips to the Pro Bowl while also being named an All-Pro five times.
