Ricky Pearsall got shot two months ago — and now he’s about to play football again.
The San Francisco 49ers rookie wide receiver has yet to make his NFL debut, which was delayed after being the victim of a shooting during training camp, but he’s set to be activated to play this Sunday.
49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed Pearsall’s status on Friday.
