Ryan Shazier may be kept off the field for now — but the dance floor is a different story.

The Steelers linebacker, who continues to recover from a devastating December 2017 spinal injury that left him temporarily paralyzed, celebrated his recent wedding with wife Michelle in style.

The heartwarming moment marked the latest step in Shazier’s miraculous rehabilitation, as he has chronicled his physical progress over the past 18 months through various social media accounts. The 26-year-old continues to be heavily involved in team activities, including scouting college players and serving as a de facto coach for the team’s inside linebackers.

While he has already been ruled out this coming season, the two-time Pro Bowler remains committed to playing in the NFL again.

The Steelers took a major step toward addressing Shazier’s absence in the offseason. They signed former Los Angeles Rams linebacker Mark Barron as a free agent in March and traded up in the first round of the NFL draft to select Michigan’s Devin Bush with the 10th overall pick.
