The 49ers could face a familiar quarterback when they play in Mexico City this season.
The NFL revealed on Wednesday that the 49ers will face the Vikings in their Week 11 trip to Mexico City. That means a potential matchup against Kyler Murray, the former Cardinals quarterback who now plays for Minnesota.

The matchup against the Vikings is on Nov. 22 at Estadio Banorte Stadium. Kickoff is at 5:20 p.m. PT. It will be the NFL’s first trip to Mexico since the 49ers beat the Cardinals in Mexico City in 2022.
That was also the last time the 49ers played an international game.
That all changes this year. In addition to their trip to Mexico City, the 49ers will open the season against the Rams in Melbourne, Australia, on Sept. 10.
