The rookie Giants quarterback won’t have any of his top playmakers at his disposal Thursday night against the Patriots. Saquon Barkley (ankle), Evan Engram (knee) and Sterling Shepard (concussion) are all officially out.

It seemed unlikely Barkley would be ready to return from his high ankle sprain on a short week, and Shepard had no chance to play once he went into the concussion protocol for the second time this season. But Engram missing out with a knee sprain makes matters even worse.

Backup running back Wayne Gallman will also miss the game with a concussion.
