The Seahawks defense was a man down after safety Quandre Diggs was flagged for a helmet-to-helmet hit.

Diggs, 27 was ejected from the Sunday night’s game against the Patriots after launching himself at the head of New England receiver N’Keal Harry late in the first quarter.

Diggs hit Harry, who was catching a pass from New England quarterback Cam Newton around the Seahawks 17-yard line. Penalty flags immediately hit the field and Diggs’ ejection was announced shortly after. Harry was not hurt on the play and held on to the ball for a 13-yard grab. It helped set up a 1-yard touchdown run from Newton to give the Patriots a 14-7 lead at the time.
