Best birthday weekend ever?
One day before celebrating his 36th birthday, Rams coach Sean McVay watched his team defeat the Buccaneers in thrilling fashion, with Los Angeles sealing the Divisional Round victory with a game-winning field goal. Hours after the stunning 30-27 win, Veronika Khomyn, McVay’s fiancée, showered him with love on Monday, his actual birthday.

McVay embraced Von Miller on Sunday in Tampa, after the Rams knocked off the reigning Super Bowl champion Bucs in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. Los Angeles Times via Getty ImagTaking to Instagram, Khomyn penned a sweet birthday message to McVay alongside a cozy photo of the couple from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
Khomyn, a luxury real estate agent, has been engaged to McVay since 2019. The couple has been linked for years, dating back to McVay’s final season in Washington, where he served as the team’s offensive coordinator from 2014 to 2016.

Should the Rams reach the big game again, which they would play at home in Los Angeles, it would be with quarterback Matthew Stafford under center. Prior to the start of the 2021 season, the Rams acquired Stafford in a trade that sent quarterback Jared Goff, the team’s first-overall pick in 2016, to the Lions.

The Rams will now face the 49ers, their division rival, in Sunday’s NFC Championship Gam. Los Angeles lost to San Francisco in both regular-season matchups this year, including a Week 18 game at home that they led 17-0 before losing in overtime.
