There seems to be no love lost between Stefon Diggs and Bills Mafia.

Diggs, whom the Bills traded to the Texans last week, liked a post on X that called Bills faithful the worst fan base in the league.

“Bills lowkey got the worse fanbase [sic] y’all bitter asf in the comments,” the post read.

It was in response to a post Diggs made, in which he wrote “Rip Tae” about the recent death of former NFL cornerback Vontae Davis at the age of 35.

Davis’ body was found at a home belonging to his grandmother in Southwest Ranches, Fla. on April 1.

Autopsy results are pending, and police said no foul play was suspected.

The fact that Diggs was mourning a former NFL colleague did not stop fans from piling on in their post-trade frustration.

“Maybe he shouldn’t lie to fans for 4 years or blame his QB [Josh Allen] when he can’t catch?” one X user wrote.

Diggs made the Pro Bowl all four years of his tenure in Buffalo, but things seemed to sour when the Bills were eliminated in the divisional round of the 2023 playoffs by the Bengals.

Cameras captured Diggs in what appeared to be a fiery exchange on the sideline with Bills quarterback Josh Allen before the eventual 27-10 loss.

Buffalo’s 27-24 loss to the Chiefs in the divisional round of the 2024 playoffs marked the third straight year the Bills season ended in this round of the playoffs.

Some defended Diggs, including one Bills fan who wrote: “Diggs is doing what’s best for him and the bills are doing what’s best for them at this time and everyone is pointing the finger directly at Diggs and stirring the pot and making drama out of nothing.”

The Bills traded Diggs to the Texans — along with a 2024 sixth-round pick (No. 189 overall) and a 2025 fifth-rounder — for a second-round selection in 2025 on April 3.

Houston also received a 2024 sixth-rounder and 2025 fifth-rounder.

Diggs, 30, reworked his contract to essentially play on a one-year, $22.5 million deal with the Texans that will allow him to reach free agency next season.

Buffalo took a dead cap hit of $31 million in 2024 with the trade.

Diggs tallied over 1,000 receiving yards in all four seasons with the Bills.

His best campaign was his debut season with the Bills in 2020, when he led the league in receptions and receiving yards, made the Pro Bowl and earned a First-team All-Pro honor.

Prior to that, Diggs spent five seasons with the Vikings after they selected him in the fifth round (No. 146 overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft.
