One super-agent took wearing a mask to protect himself from the coronavirus to the next level before to the 2020 NFL Draft.
Drew Rosenhaus, who has represented Rob Gronkowski, Antonio Brown, and many other top stars, was photographed with one of the biggest and most elaborate masks/face coverings you are going to find on his flight from Miami to Georgia on April 23.
Rosenhaus, who lives in Miami, was in Sugar Hill, Ga., for the first round of the virtual draft on April 27 with his client and former Auburn defensive tackle Derrick Brown – who was drafted No. 7 overall by the Panthers.
“After 32 drafts, this one is definitely different!” Rosenhaus tweeted along with a photo of him in the mask.
Airlines such as United, American, Delta, JetBlue and Frontier have all laid out new rules for May that will require all passengers to wear a mask on flights. Rosenhaus, dressed in a shirt for his Rosenhaus Sports agency, ended up being in an AFP wire photo from the flight for a story about the federal stimulus package for the airlines.
The coverings don’t have to be medical grade, but Rosenhaus’ far exceeded that standard. The mask he had on included a faceguard, filters on both sides, and likely a respirator. A mask similar to the one worn by Rosenhaus appears to be going for around $50 on Amazon, but won’t get to customers until early June.
