Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow limped off the field in the fourth quarter of Super Bowl 2022, and cameras cut to his girlfriend, Olivia Holzmacher, looking on with concern.
Burrow was sacked by Rams edge rusher Von Miller. The Bengals quarterback appeared to be in severe pain on the ground and limped off the field.
However, it did not later appear to be a grave injury.
According to NBC’s Michele Tafoya, Burrow waved off the trainer and told backup quarterback Brandon Allen he was OK.
Burrow and Holzmacher have been together since 2017, when he was a backup quarterback at Ohio State. She has been there with him to celebrate his Heisman Trophy victory and subsequent LSU national championship, all the way through the present playoff run.
