It really was sack time for this Super Bowl fan.

A fan went viral during the big game between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers when he was caught snoozing — during the first quarter.

“Somehow, this man is sleeping through the #SuperBowl,” Sporting News deputy editor Karisa Maxwell said on Twitter, where she posted video of the man with mouth agape in the lower deck at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

“We’re still only in the first quarter,” she added.

Minutes later, Maxwell wrote. “He just woke up … oh, no should I tell him?”

She then added: “Oh no… His friend is currently showing him the video. The whole section knows. WHAT DO I DO?!”

Before too long, the “#SuperBowlSleeper” hashtag was born, E Online reported.

“Become a legend and interview him lol,” a follower suggested.

“Give the poor guy a beer and make a friend,” another wrote.

“Just tell him he’s going to be the unofficial meme of Super Bowl LIV,” yet another said.

One person wrote, “You gotta be rich to spend $1500 plus on a super bowl ticket just to sleep at the game.”

Impressed by his slumber skills, another wrote, “No sleep mask. No ear plugs. No weighted blanket. Pure talent. #Respect.”

It was unclear which team he rooted for, but if it was Kansas City, hopefully he didn’t sleep through the entire game, which the Chiefs won 31-20 after Patrick Mahomes threw two TD passes in the fourth quarter.
