You don’t have to be an NFL expert to make money on the big game. Prop bets and betting on the spread isn’t for everyone. There’s another option: Super Bowl squares.

The Post is providing a printable boxes template for your enjoyment when the Chiefs meet the 49ers on Sunday for Super Bowl 2020 in Miami:

How do Super Bowl squares work?

There are 10 vertical columns and 10 horizontal rows numbered from zero up to nine. One team is given columns and the other rows. Each square gets purchased separately and is priced equally. After each box is sold, the numbers are assigned to each square at random.

Payouts are broken down per quarter, with the final score of the game traditionally paying out the highest sum. After each quarter, the person whose box equals the second number of each team’s score wins. Let’s say the score at halftime is 14-7. The individual who owns the box at row four, column seven wins.

What are the best squares to have?

Typically, it’s best to have a box that ends in multiples of seven or three, the most common way teams score. But there is also the possibility of strange numbers, too. Two years ago, the Eagles defeated the Patriots, 41-33.
