Houston is paying Will Anderson Jr. all he could want — and then some.

The Texans announced a historic three-year $150 million contract for their prized edge rusher — the highest contract for a non-quarterback in NFL history.

It comes with the first two years fully guaranteed and includes a full no-trade clause, per multiple reports.

Anderson, 24, had a career-high 12 sacks last year and was the top-rated pass rusher in the NFL according to Pro Football Focus.

The Texans had arguably the best defense in the NFL last year, and Anderson Jr. was a massive part of that, as he ranked No. 4 in the NFL in pass rush win rate (23 percent) and had the most “wins” in the NFL among all players at the position.

This marked Anderson’s first major payday since being drafted by Houston in 2023.

This extension is expected to tack on at the end of the 2026 season, as the 2023 No. 3 overall pick will have his option year ripped up in favor of this deal.

Anderson will now be under contract through the 2029 season, when he will be 29 and still well within his prime.

The deal eclipsed Micah Parsons’ with the Packers last year, which at the time served as the largest in the NFL by average annual value at $46.5 million.
